LEWISTON — Robert R. Blais Sr., of Lisbon Falls, passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 17, surrounded by his wife and son.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Claudette Albert Blais, of Lisbon Falls; his son, Robert Jr., of Litchfield; two sisters, Juliette Beaulieu, Madeleine Brulotte; and three brothers, Ernest Blais, Leo Blais and Paul Blais.

Robert had been a member of the Lisbon Falls Fire Department for nine years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and working in his garden and flowers. He also enjoyed woodworking. He made many log cabins, wishing wells and lawn ornaments. He was a siding contractor and carpenter for 44 years until he retired in 1996.
