SOUTH PORTLAND — Girl Scouts of Maine will host free Sprouting Daisies events for girls who are entering kindergarten or first grade, and their families.

Local events include: 

Greene: 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Greene Central School, 41 Main St.

Jay: 6 p.m. Monday, May 7, at Spruce Mountain Elementary School, 12 Tiger Drive.

Lewiston: 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Thomas J. McMahon Elementary School, 151 North Temple St.; and 6 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Montello School, 407 East Ave.

Livermore: 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at Spruce Mountain Primary School, 107 Gibbs Mill Road.

Minot: 6 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Minot Consolidated School, 23 Shaw Hill Road. 

Peru: 6 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Dirigo Elementary School, 117 Auburn Road.

Readfield: 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Readfield Elementary School, 84 South Road.
