‘Why Are We Here?’ cafe topic
BRIDGTON — The Socrates Cafe will meet on Monday, May 7, at the Bridgton Community Center.
A meet and greet will be held from 6:15 to 6:30 p.m. and discussion from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The topic will be “Why Are We Here?” Moderator will be Joanne Morse. Light refreshments will be provided.

Cemetery association to meet
SUMNER — Pleasant Pond Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, May 7, at the Universalist Church vestry.

Nature club to review activities
OXFORD — The Twin Town Nature Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, May 7, at the Oxford Congregational Church, 252 King St., for a potluck supper and review of activities planned for the year.

FARMINGTON — The Garden Angel Project Committee will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, in the Franklin County Extension Office, Pleasant Street.
The committee will examine the received applications for the 2018 season and volunteer responsibilities.
