LEWISTON — The true story of a life-threatening medical condition and a seemingly miraculous outcome will be discussed at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, May 6, at Lifetree Cafe.

The program, “Emergency: Make Room for God,” features a filmed interview with Dena Ballagh, a woman who experienced a sudden life-threatening illness, but was saved largely due to the efforts of a doctor whose identity she still doesn’t know.

“I was trying to get out the words ‘I can’t breathe,’ as my lungs were starting to fail,” Ballagh says. “They put an oxygen mask over my face, and I don’t remember anything after that.”

Participants will have an opportunity to share emergency situations they’ve experienced and any miracles that resulted from them.

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Cafe is located at South Lewiston Baptist Church, 1919 Lisbon Road.
