WORCESTER, Mass. — Harold E. “Bucky” Gatchell, 73, of Worcester, Ma., passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 21, with loved ones by his side.
He was born April 23, 1944, to Leslie and Gloria (Frothingham) Gatchell Sr. in Norway and was educated in local area schoolsl He later moved to Massachusetts and resided in the Worcester area for many years. He was a truck driver most of his life.
He enjoyed sports and was particularly fond of NASCAR racing and football.
Survivors include his brothers Leslie Gatchel Jr., George Gatchell and Russ Frothingham; his partner for many years, Arlene Cunningham-O’Connor; children, Ms. Leslie Hennessey, Kyle and Tim Jackson, Bill and Johnna Gatchell, and several grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie (Sam) and Gloria Gatchell, a brother, William, and sister, Edith Lafrance. Services will be private.
