As a state legislator, I believe government resources should be used wisely. Limited funds should be used to help only those who most need it. In the state Senate, I have been glad to find an ally in these efforts in my colleague, Sen. Eric Brakey.
During Brakey’s first term, he was a leader in reforming welfare and an advocate for commonsense policies overall. Serving with him in the Senate, I have been impressed by his work ethic and policy knowledge. He is also an incredibly dedicated and strong voice for individual freedom.
Now, Brakey is looking beyond serving his Maine Senate district and is running for the U.S. Senate — to serve the entire state. I look forward to what Eric Brakey will achieve as a U.S. Senator.
