AUBURN — St. Michael’s Episcopal Church of Auburn has selected the Rev. Judson Pealer to be the Priest in Charge beginning June 1.
Pealer was ordained in Vermont and has served several parishes in
Vermont, New York, West Virginia and most recently in Rangeley. He is married to artist Sandra Pealer and they have three adult children.
Pealer looks forward to working with area churches to develop neighborhood ministries and to strengthen the ministries of the people of St. Michael’s. His interests in ministry are developing relationships, scripture, the cultural influences on faith and spirituality.
He is active with the Wolf/Loring Fund Board (diocesan support for education), the Clergy Spirituality Committee, Clergy Disciplinary Board and as a consultant for congregations in transition. Pealer believes that listening, smiling, humor and friendship are excellent ways to serve Christ.
