WALES — Xavior Michaud netted five goals as Oak Hill marched to a 19-4 victory over St. Dom’s in boys’ lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.

Nate Marcotte contributed three goals for Oak Hill.

Wil Fletcher was the leading scorer for the Saints with a pair of tallies in the losing effort.

Bonny Eagle 12, Edward Little 10

STANDISH — Alex Dyer had three goals and an assist to lead Bonny Eagle past Edward Little 12-10 in boys’ lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.

Anthony Breton, Max Zydagio and Dillon Cobbett netted two goals apiece for the Scots (4-3), while Johnathan Merrill and Tyler Williams added one each.

Spencer Frahn paced the Red Eddies (1-6) with five goals. Ben Feldman scored three times for Edward Little.

Cole Sullivan stopped 11 shots for the Scots, while Gunnar Winslow made 13 saves for the Eddies.

Baseball

Buckfield 14, Forest Hills 4

BUCKFIELD — Ethan Jackson had a double and an inside-the-park home run as Buckfield cruised to a 14-4 triumph over Forest Hills in five innings in baseball action Saturday afternoon.

The Bucks (4-3) led 8-1 after just three innings. Rick Kraske contributed a double and a single for Buckfield.

Caleb Lacasse had two hits and an RBI for the Tigers (3-4), while suffering the pitching loss.

Yarmouth 9, St. Dominic 3

YARMOUTH — Yarmouth used a six-run first inning to defeat St. Dom’s 9-3 in baseball action Saturday afternoon.

Jackson Caruso hit a two-run double in the first inning for the Clippers (5-3), and scored on a double by Ben Norton.

Toby Burgmaier (1-0) pitched four scoreless innings to earn his first career win, allowing just four hits and striking out one.

Riley Volpe hit a double for the Saints (3-4) in the losing effort.

Softball

Buckfield 25, Forest Hills 0

BUCKFIELD — Cara Merrill produced three singles and a double as Buckfield stormed to a 25-0 victory over Forest Hills in softball action Saturday afternoon.

The Bucks (5-2) put nine runs on the board in the first inning, and another 12 in the second. Carly Trimm added two singles and a doulbe for Buckfield.

The Tigers (0-7) committed 10 errors in the contest. Forest Hills had only one hit, a single in the fifth inning.

Edward Little 14, Bangor 1

AUBURN — Megan Steele filled the cage with seven goals and five assists as Edward Little ran away with a 14-1 victory over Bangor in girls’ lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.

The Red Eddies (2-4) led 9-1 at the half. Lydia Celani contributed four goals, while Mallory Ouellette added two goals and three assists for Edward Little.

Grace Martin had the lone goal for the Rams (0-4) in the losing effort.
