LEWISTON — Carmen L. Ouellette, 94, of Lewiston died Wednesday, May 16, at Marshwood Center. She was born in Lewiston on April 4, 1924, a daughter of the late Albert and Juliette (Couture) Ouellette.

She was educated in local schools and started working at the age of 17. She worked for Hill Mill for 28 years and then Bates Mill for 17 years.

Carmen was a very kind and giving person. She loved to cook for her many friends at Roak Block Apartments; she also enjoyed passing out candy, shopping and following her Red Sox.

She leaves her dear friend, Jamie Stevens, and her husband, David. She was predeceased by her sisters Theresa and Francoise.
