As a nearly 30-year professional and instructor in the field of criminal justice, I would like to endorse Alex Willette for district attorney for Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties. He is a well-prepared professional with the energy, desire and moral conviction to pursue justice in the best interests of the community.
Criminal justice can be an ugly business. As a U.S. Army officer, former state representative and assistant district attorney in Sagadahoc County, Willette brings the mental fortitude and experience necessary to be tough on crime, sympathetic to victims and a strong guardian of law and order.
Further, Alex Willette is my friend and neighbor. While serving as a city councilor I often called on him as a resource for legal and policy questions. He was patient, competent and analytical — just what is needed in the District Attorney’s office.
