SCARBOROUGH — Carleton “Carl” Harold Hallock, 65 years old, lost his hard-fought battle to cancer with dignity Thursday, May 17. He was surrounded by his loving friends and family until his very last breath.
Born on Sept. 20, 1952, in Lewiston, Maine, to Jeanne and Harold Hallock. He attended school in East Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School. Carl then began his lifelong career in auto body repair with his father. He later became owner and operator of Wade and Dunton.
Carl loved life. He celebrated it and enjoyed it to the fullest. He loved the outdoors, gardening and in his younger years was an avid hunter and fisherman. When Carl loved you, he loved you fiercely. If you were fortunate enough to know Carl’s heart, you knew no greater love. He loved his daughters and grandchildren beyond measure. They were his world.
He is survived by his Uncle Dale Carleton; brothers Craig and John Hallock; sisters Martha and her husband, Topper; Stacey and her husband, Kevin; Julie and her husband, Luke; many nieces and nephews; his daughters Katie and Erin; son-in-law, Brian; grandchildren Owen, Lilly and Nevaeh; and countless friends that he considered family.
He is now reunited with his daughter Nichole Hallock; his mother, father and Wendy Mendenhall.
A very special thank you to Burt and Jill Gendron, David Violet, Roxanne Goupil, his brothers and sisters for all the love and support that you gave throughout his battle.
