AUBURN — Gerard B. Raymond (Gerry), 65, of Auburn, joyfully entered eternal life in Heaven on May 22, surrounded by his family. He now lives pain-free and is in the presence of his Lord and Savior.

Gerry was born Feb. 9, 1953, in Lewiston, the son of Bertrand (deceased) and Florence Labrie Raymond. He was a hardworking man despite suffering with Crohn’s disease for 54 years. He retired from the state of Maine after 29 years of service.

On June 6, 1975, he married the love of his life, Susan Vincent. His family was his joy.

He is survived by his children Sasha and her husband, Todd Hofacker, of Greene and Breanne and her husband, Todd Schroder, of Sabattus. He absolutely loved his grandchildren Aili, Ross, Willow, Nyah and Aiden. He also enjoyed his step-grandchildren Stephen and Nicole Hofacker.

He is also survived by his four younger siblings, Normand and wife, Gloria, of Detroit, Paul and his wife, Kathleen, of Georgia, Diane Aponte and husband, Rafael, of Florida and Denise Quirrion of Auburn.
