LEWISTON — Lucienne C. Goupil, 80, a resident of Alfred Plourde Parkway passed away peacefully Sunday, May 20, at the Hospice House, following a short illness.

She was born in Lewiston, March 13, 1938, the daughter of Louis and Wilhelmine Caron. Lucienne loved music and bingo as well as being a homemaker.

She and her husband owned a convenience store in Lewiston for three years. She was also a part-time worker all her life at various local businesses. She most enjoyed working in the kitchen of area nursing homes serving meals to their patients.

In her earlier days she and her husband enjoyed many family gatherings around the pool. She also enjoyed weekly family lunches at her home and enjoyed traveling. Lucienne also enjoyed many family reunions with her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. She always put family first. She was a loving, caring mother to her children.

Survivors include her husband, Roland Goupil, of Lewiston; one son, Roger Goupil, of Auburn; two daughters, Joan Lemieux and husband, Roger, of Arundel and Louise Drouin of Lewiston; three brothers, Alphonse Caron, Arthur Caron and wife, Merriam, and Alphe Caron, all of Lewiston; two sisters, Jeannette Benson of Auburn and Rita Mathieu and husband, Andy, of Lewiston.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Daniel Lemieux and wife, Lexi, and Rose Williamson and husband, Jesse. She also has several nieces and nephews.
