WATERFORD — Those who enjoy reading and talking about the books and looking for new recommendations may join the Waterford Library Book Group.
New participants always welcome. Meeting once a month at the library on the fourth Wednesday of each month (the third Wednesday in November) at 10 a.m. for an hour and a half of friendly discussion.
Books selected for the upcoming months are:
• June: “This House of Sky: Landscapes of a Western Mind” by Ivan Doig (autobiography);
• July: “Tangerine” by Christine Mangan (fiction);
• August: “Exit West” by Mohsin Hamid (fiction);
• September: “Elephant Company: The Inspiring Story of an Unlikely Hero and the Animals Who Helped Him Save Lives in World War II” by Vicki Constantine Croke (non-fiction);
• Octobter: “Killers of the Flower Moon, The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI” by David Grann (non-fiction); and
• November: “Homegoing” by Yaa Gyasi (fiction).
