LISBON — The Androscoggin Retired Educators’ Leadership Award was recently presented to Josephine Dupal of Lisbon at the state convention in Augusta.
Dupal has served as vice president and president of the Androscoggin Retired Educators’ Association and taught elementary school in Auburn for many years at Lincoln School, Sherwood Heights School, C.P. White School and Western Avenue School.
Dupal has been a member of Eastern Star for 52 years and has served on the advisory board for Rainbow Girls. She serves on the board of directors for the Dyslexia School in Portland, and also volunteers at the Public Theatre in Lewiston and the Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick.
