AUBURN — Lotus Restaurant, 279 Center St., has presented Leavitt Area High School’s Project Graduation with a check for $1,000.
Project Graduation offers graduating seniors a chem-free celebration on the night of graduation.
Lotus put $1 from each buffet meal sold during a chosen day in May toward the donation and then increased the donation to $1,000.
Leavitt Area High School is in Turner and serves Turner, Leeds and Greene.
Graduation ceremonies are scheduled for Sunday, June 10, and the all-night Project Graduation will take place throughout the night at the Alfond Center in Waterville. Activities will include swimming, dancing, rock-wall climbing, food and prizes, all free for the graduates.
