I recently saw a sign for “S. Thomas Carey for District Attorney.” I had not heard that Thomas Carey was running. When I mentioned it to my family, they informed me that is was Seth Thomas Carey running.
I realized that Carey had appeared to omit his first name from the campaign signs. That seems deceptive at best, running on what appeared to me to be his father’s name.
People who are thinking of voting for him should do some research and see what I mean. In the Rumford area, his name holds little but scorn for his behavior.
I feel that the integrity of the legal system here in Maine matters, and that Seth Carey does not have the integrity needed for such a position of honor.
