FARMINGTON —The “Reading Rocks” summer reading program at Farmington Public Library, 117 Academy St., will run from Friday, June 15, through Saturday, Aug. 4.

The program is for children of all ages who will read and listen to books, keep a record of their reading and win prizes donated by local businesses.

All RSU No. 9 students are entitled to a free library card, but a library card is not necessary to participate.

There will be sound science and musical instruments to make, along with regular weekly programs:

• Baby Rhymes, Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

• Preschool Story Hour, Fridays at 10 a.m.

• Owl Club for school-aged children, Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m.

• Art Together for all ages, Fridays at 3 p.m.

• Saturday Stories for all ages, Saturdays at 11 a.m.
