JAY — Voters approved four articles Tuesday, including a revised budget article and three amended ordinances.
Residents voted 448-373 to spend $181,215 on professional services, including legal, assessing, animal control, welfare services and funding for the industrial valuation reserve account.
The select board and budget panel cut $20,000 from the article that failed 261-213 in April. It was the only article to fail in a $6.5 million budget.
Voters also approved a Sewer Use Ordinance by a vote of 417-359; a Shoreland Zoning Ordinance, 413-376; and a Recycling and Waste Disposal Ordinance, 452-337.
