STRONG — Maine State Police are investigating a burglary at the White Elephant Country Store on Main Street that occurred during overnight hours June 10, according to Trooper Reid Bond.
He said forcible entry was made, which caused minor damage.
The store owners are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the theft.
Police and the owners are requesting the public’s assistance with information on the burglary.
He declined to release information on what was taken during the burglary.
