AUBURN — At a recent meeting of Danville Junction Grange, the Community Citizen Award was presented to Donna Searles of Poland.
Searles is very active in her community. She regularly collects coupons for the troops and soda can tabs for the Ronald MacDonald House and contributes them to Danville Junction Grange for their projects.
She has been treasurer of her church for more than 20 years, works on the monthly church breakfasts and donates six to 10 baskets each year for the silent auction at the church fair.
She helps many people in need by providing food, giving pedicures or organizing medications. In addition, she helps with the backpack program in Poland, Minot and Mechanic Falls.

Donna Searles, left, is presented the Community Citizen Award by the Danville Junction Grange members Glenys Ryder, center, the community service chair; and Karen Gagne, Master.
