President Trump seeks out alliances with the enemies of freedom while insulting and alienating America’s longtime allies. He cozies up to Russia (which I see as perpetrating an act of war since Russia infiltrated the foundation of this nation — free elections), China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia and Syria. He has openly expresses admiration for murderous dictators while insulting Canada.

Really? Canada?

Trump and his supporters are showing the world and the nation just what they think of a free and open society. They are trying mightily to destroy the Constitution, which was bought and protected with the blood of the nation’s forebears. It is cause for great concern that there are so many Americans embracing Trump’s race to become a dictator.

As a proud Navy veteran, I am disgusted and sickened by Trump’s actions. Did I give those years of my life helping defend Europe and this nation from the Russians just to have a narcissistic scam-artist and wannabe Putin clone blow the Constitution to smithereens? Was my father’s Purple Heart fighting the Chinese and North Koreans all for nothing?

Trump’s followers better hope his mission is complete, and free elections are a thing of the past before the people elect a Democratic president and/or Congressional majority. When that happens (and it will someday if the U.S. continues to have free elections), Trump will have paved the way for the left to impose its agenda.

Trump followers should be careful what they wish for.
