OTISFIELD — The Bell Hill Meetinghouse in Otisfield will be the scene of another joyful, jazzy show on Sunday, July 8, when the Cobblestones treat the public to more great music. This concert begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. Come listen to these five performers and their eclectic mix of pop favorites, acoustic rock, and progressive folk music. They’ll perform a variety of songs from such artists as Bonnie Raitt and Mary Chapin. Their music features vocals, guitars, and tight harmonies.
This concert is the summer’s first offering presented by the Bell Hill Meetinghouse Association, a local group with a passion for preserving this architectural and historic landmark, built in 1839, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. As in the past, the association offers an annual series of summer events at both the meetinghouse and the one-room schoolhouse next door.
The concert is free and suitable for all ages. The intermission features ice-cold lemonade and cookies from Hungry Hollow Country Store. Donations at the door are gladly and gratefully accepted. For more information, please call 539-8178.
