LOVELL — Summer theater camp, put on by Director Mary Bastoni of Center Stage Theater Co., will run daily from Monday through Friday, July 16 to 20. This day camp is open to children ages 7 to 14.
This is an opportunity for kids to learn stagecraft. From acting to singing, from costumes to prompting, working with props, cues and playing a character, there is something for those who love being on stage and for those who just want to be part of the crew. This year Bastoni is considering “Beauty and the Beast,” which includes lots of roles to fill.
Summer theater camp is free. There will be a $10 registration fee, but the camp’s sponsor, the Sear Family Foundation, will provide scholarships for all children interested in attending.
