WAYNE — The Cary Memorial Library’s summer book sale opens at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road, and runs through Saturday, July 21.
This week-long sale is one of two giant annual sales, with four rooms filled from floor to ceiling with gently used books. There will be DVDs and CDs, too. Most books, DVDs and CDS are priced at $1 or less.
Sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday July 14; 10 a.m. to noon Monday July 16; 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, July 17 to 19; and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21.
On Saturday, July 21, shoppers can buy books for $2 a bag.

RUMFORD — Christmas in July at the What-Not-Shop will be from Monday to Friday, July 16 to 20. There will be Christmas decorations, gifts and more.

WATERFORD — The Waterford Summer Breakfast indoor yard sale will be from from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, in the basement of the Wilkins Community House at the foot of Plummer Hill Road, next to the Waterford Congregational Church.
Sales will coincide with breakfasts. Future breakfasts are Wednesdays, Aug. 1 and 15.
Income from the yard sales goes to the maintenance funds for the Wilkins Community House and the Waterford Congregational Church.

BETHEL — Bethel Public Library will have a book sale Friday and Saturday, July 20 and 21.
The Friday sale will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday’s sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
