Great news for Maine. Ned Claxton is running for State Senator from Auburn, New Gloucester, Poland, Minot and Mechanic Falls.

I am a Lewiston/Auburn family physician, and Ned’s colleague for 25 years. People here in Central Maine are experiencing long waits to see specialists, and many have lost their primary care physician and can’t find a replacement. All over Maine we are experiencing physician and nursing shortages. Ned is a true public servant, effective leader and a master of common sense approaches to these and other issues.

Want proof? Look at his contributions. He co-founded Family Health Associates in Auburn, then became the Family Practice Residency director and, most recently, the Chief Medical Information Officer for Central Maine Healthcare.

I believe that Ned will listen, negotiate and advocate for the best, most practical solution for the issues that face Mainers. He has my support.
