
Paddlers practice basic kayaking skills taught by Sarah Carter, coordinator for 5210 Let’s Go of Oxford County, and assisted by Sherri Otterson, coordinator for the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine. Kayaking for Wellness begins Saturday, July 21, and continues Saturdays through the end of August. The class meets from 9 to 11 a.m. at at the public boat launch in Pennesseewassee Lake Park on Route 118 in Norway. Those impacted by cancer, including survivors, family members and caregivers, are invited to attend. Bring a life jacket and kayak, paddleboard or canoe.
