She was born in Lewiston on Aug. 30, 1947 a daughter of the late Romeo and Theresa (Lessard) Samson. She grew up in Lewiston and married Roger Torres, from Somerville, Mass., on Sept. 2, 1967. Dee was the matriarch of the family, she was everyone’s rock and caretaker, her home was her palace and it was always open to family and friends. She had a warm heart and was a very giving and caring person. She loved her family with all her heart and made it a point to do her best to attend all special occasions. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed. She enjoyed playing cards, spades, Scrabble, and cribbage. She also enjoyed crafts and all holidays and decorating for them, especially Christmas.
