LEWISTON — Michael Takach has joined Community Health Options as pharmacy director, reporting to Dr. Edward Yoon.
Takach’s responsibilities will include oversight of pharmacy and therapeutic issues, and ensuring compliance with pertinent governmental regulations and standards.
A registered pharmacist, Takach holds a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy and a master of science degree in health informatics, both from Northeastern University in Boston.
Before joining Health Options, he was founder and president of PharmSense Inc. In that role, he spent six years traveling extensively throughout the United States, advising clients on operational efficiencies, long-term strategy, CMS audit support and compliance and drug-trend management.
