LEWISTON — Shirley M. Huntley, 96, formerly of Wales, peacefully passed away Wednesday, July 26, at Montello Manor.

She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 8, 1921, the daughter of William and Mildred (Toothaker) Bunnell.

Shirley was co-owner of Spring Brook Mobile Home Park in Wales along with her husband, Alvoid, who died Dec. 17, 1993.

She was a proud member of the Fidelity of Rebekah Lodge #4 of Auburn, the Robin Dow Senior Citizens, the YWCA Knitters Club, and the Auburn Senior Bowling League.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Huntley Currier and husband Ronald of Scarborough; four grandchildren, Debra Atripaldi and husband Jay of Buxton, Dean Currier and wife Melissa of Alfred, Douglas Currier and wife Shanna of South Carolina, and Darcy Currier and Tom McKechnie of Penobscot; six great-grandchildren, Alexa and Skyler Currier; Camron and Christian Currier; Wyatt and Thea McKechnie. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
