WOODSTOCK — Frederick D. Rogers (Rick Jolly Rogers), 66, of Woodstock passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 29, at Central Maine Medical Center.

Rick was born in North Conway, N.H., on Feb., 16, 1952. After high school, Rick studied small engine repair. He worked at a garage while earning his Class A truck driving license. Rick spent many years as the owner-operator of his own trucking business, delivering for Beacons Furniture and Emery’s Distribution Warehouse.

Rick started working at Sunday River in 1989. Through the summer season, Rick worked at Mt. Washington Auto Road. He eventually became a year-round employee in 2005.

He leaves behind his wife, Darlene Rogers; his mother, Faylene Rogers; his brother, Dale Rogers; his sister, Delight Morz; his stepchildren Robert Pilgrim, William Pilgrim and Jordan Pilgrim-Hanson; his biological son, Ian Rogers; his grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Rick was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Jennell Robinson; his father, Dwight Rogers; and two brothers Paul and Butchie Rogers.
