As Robert Mueller’s noose tightens on the most corrupt and treasonous administration in U.S. history, I would urge Sen. Susan Collins not to endorse President Trump’s choice for the U.S. Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh.

Even if Congress impeached Trump, Kavanaugh would remain on the bench for decades, implementing his right-wing, anti-democratic agenda. The court already leans to the right of the majority of the American populace. Kavanaugh’s presence will tip it into territory not occupied by the court since before the Civil War.

This country has made too much progress as a diverse nation of immigrants and those striving for better lives to go backward now.
