UPDATED 6:46 A.M.: Four balloons launched this morning but other pilots were worried about stronger winds above 1,000 feet. That is all that will launch this morning. But we do have the Elvis Tribute balloon inflating for show.

Updated 5:49 a.m.: Crews are inflating their balloons. This morning is definitely launchable.
We’re waiting for the balloons to launch Saturday morning at the Great Falls Balloon Festival at Simard-Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston.
Entries had to be submitted by 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. The winner will be notified by 6:00 p.m. The winner will be responsible for picking up the tickets at the Great Falls Balloon Festival Information booth.
