I have been a Catholic all my life, and I am totally disgusted with the Catholic Church and its protection of hundreds of pedophile priests. I really think it is time to shut down the church and take all the millions of dollars the Vatican is holding and give that money to those people and children who have had their lives destroyed by those unholy priests.
The crimes have been going on far too long for it not to be condoned and allowed by the higher-ups in the church. Years ago, I read an article that claimed that thousands of children in Ireland had been molested by priests. It was covered up then, just like it is covered up here in America.
It seems like more and more people are coming forward with their horror stories about those corrupt priests. It has been going on for a long, long time and the church needs to be shut down. The top people care more about protecting the church’s image than they care about children.
