RAYMOND — Barbara E. Plummer, 88, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26. She was born in Norway, a daughter of Wallace and Bessie Sargent.
Barbara married Kenneth H. Plummer on Aug. 1, 1946. She worked at Sylvania in Standish and at Cole Farms in Gray. Barbara was a ballot clerk in Raymond for over 50 years. She enjoyed reading, traveling, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 49 years; three brothers, Robert Sargent of Poland, Rodney Sargent of Lewiston and Richard of Auburn. Surviving are four sons: Stephen and his wife, Melody, of Norway, Timothy and his wife, Jane, of Casco, Thomas and his wife, Terry, of Casco, David and his wife, Kathy, of Raymond; two brothers: Stanley and his wife, Diane, of Georgia, Roger and his wife, Irene, of Raymond, N.H.; her sister, Marilyn Taylor, of Lewiston; eight grandchildren, Jean, Holly, Angie, Melissa, Tanya, Dan, Crystal and James; and 13 great-grandchildren.
