STANDISH — Schoolhouse Arts Center, 16 Richville Road (Route 114), will be holding auditions for “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” an adaptation of the famous Charles Shultz characters directed by Michael Hjort. Auditions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Sept. 9 and 10, at Schoolhouse Arts Center.
Auditions are open to teens and adults and will consist of cold readings from the script. All of the familiar Peanuts characters are in this production, including Charlie Brown; Snoopy (may consider a child for this role); Lucy; Linus; Sally; Schroeder; Pig-Pen; Violet; Patty; Shermy; and others.
Show dates are Nov. 30 through Dec. 9 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
