Catch Chris Floyd live from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Pedro O’Hara’s in Lewiston. Born into a musical family, Floyd began playing guitar at 9 years old. By age 10, he was playing on stage in his families band. With music spanning classic rock, country, blues and bluegrass, Floyd began his solo career, while also playing in several bands. There is no cover charge.
Jim Toscano will play live at Pedro’s from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday. Toscano has been playing guitar and singing for more than 30 years as a solo acoustic act and with many different bands. After graduating from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, he played shows in clubs, pubs, breweries, concerts, parks, bars, private parties and street fairs from New York’s Greenwich Village to Philadelphia and the Jersey shore. This summer Toscano moved his family to Auburn from Central Jersey and will continue to make music and new friends in Maine, the place he now calls home. There is no cover.
