NORWAY — SCORE Oxford Hills will hold a free, small business roundtable series this fall for those who have challenges, goals and questions for their small business.

The second workshop, Hiring and Retaining Employees: How to Build Your Dream Team, will be held from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Town Office. Discussion will center on how to find employees, conduct effective interviews, and important records needed for hiring, as well as how to motivate employees to do their best work. The third workshop, By the Book: Creating Processes and Procedures for Your Business, will be held from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Town Office. The workshop will center on when a small business grows. Things can get a bit complicated and essential tasks may pile up if key questions aren’t answered: Whose task is it? When should the task be completed? What are your best practices? Discussion will include how to efficiently and effectively operate a small business.
