AUBURN — Program on the habitats and habits of Maine birds by Bob Duchesne, founder of the Maine Birding Trail, which specializes in small group tours, 6 p.m., Auburn Public Library. Duchesne is a columnist for the Bangor Daily News, hosts a Bangor radio program, “Bob Duchesne’s Wild Maine,” and chairs the Maine Legislative Committee of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.

LEWISTON — Great Falls Forum, noon-1 p.m. Callahan Hall, Lewiston Public Library. Joseph Jackson, coordinator of Maine Prisoner Advocacy Coalition and Maine Inside Out, will present “Prison Reform in Maine, and the Need for Those with Lived Experience to Lead the Discussion.” Jackson spent two decades in prison within the Maine Department of Corrections, earned his associate and bachelor’s degrees while incarcerated and founded of Maine State Prison chapter of NAACP.
