LEWISTON — Members of Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma are preparing for their annual Teddy Bear Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Lewiston High School gym.

It’s the chapter’s biggest fundraiser, featuring gently loved teddy bears, white elephant items, used books and DVDs, baked goods and candies, gently loved teddy bears, arts and crafts, harvest products like jams and jellies, and homemade beans and biscuits for supper.

Members also sell raffle tickets for baskets, handmade crafts, $50 gift certificates for gas and lobster, and a handmade quilt donated by Linda Tremblay of Sabattus. This year’s wall hanging or lap quilt is in shades of lavender and cream. It is 35 inches square, featuring materials bought in Alaska and scenes of Alaskan wildlife.

Linda Tremblay displays her handmade Alaska-themed quilt that will be raffled at the annual Teddy Bear Fair on Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Lewiston High School gym.
