Linda Duby pinches blooms at her home on Lincoln Street in Lewiston on Monday. Duby said by removing the old flowers, she can save the seeds to plant next spring. “I am a flower and vegetable fanatic,” Duby said. Runners, cyclists and sometimes motorists stop to look at Duby’s garden. Once, Duby said, a man stopped and offered to buy some flowers. “Nooooo,” Duby said. “These are my babies.” (Daryn Slover/Sun Journal)
