HAVERHILL, Mass. — Jackie (Gaudet, Arsenault) Parent, age 81, of Rumford, daughter of Agape and Florence Arsenault, loving wife of Timothy Parent, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, Mass., from kidney failure.
Jackie had various jobs throughout the years, retiring from ITT Technologies in Lawrence, Mass. She moved back to Rumford with her husband, Timothy. She loved and cherished family and friends, and was a devout Catholic. Jackie especially enjoyed family parties and get-togethers; it was a passion for her.
She is survived by her second husband, Timothy Parent; her six children, Lewis and his wife, Ruby Gaudet, Bonnie and her husband, James Gianni, Peter Jr. and his wife, Nancy Gaudet, John Gaudet and his fiancee, Linda Parente, Kellie and her husband, Ronald Hayes, and Julie Ouellet; siblings, Eva Viens, Jerry Arsenault, Elaine McPherson, Bertha Kelley and Therese Hodgson; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and loved ones.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Peter J. Gaudet Sr., father of her children, who died in 1981; three brothers, Agape Jr., Donald and Roland; and a granddaughter, Jessica.
Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at S.G. Thibault Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Parish of the Holy Savior. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in October. If so desired, contributions in Jackie’s memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20850.
