SCARBOROUGH — Maria Parisi, 87, a resident of Barker Mill Arms Apartments in Auburn, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 21, at the Gosnel Hospice in Scarborough.
She was born April 18, 1931, in Rome, Italy, the daughter of Antonio Parisi.
Maria was well-known for walking around her neighborhood. She was very social and loved to stop and chat with anyone.
She was a very proud and independent woman.
There are no known survivors.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Maria will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. Committal prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lewiston.
