FARMINGTON — A Jay woman was transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital on Thursday morning with minor injuries when a car turned in front of her near Farmington Smoke Shop, 218 Wilton Road, police officer Jesse Clement said.
Christine Dunham, 25, was traveling southbound in a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe when a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driving by Susan Brown, 69, of Wilton turned in front of her.
Clement said Dunham was transported by NorthStar EMS. Brown, who was not transported, sustained minor bruising from airbag deployment, Clement said.
No charges are pending, added Clement.
The accident was reported at 10:04 a.m. Farmington Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Clement said the scene was cleared at 11:03 a.m.
