LEWISTON — Elena Eudras will perform the final organ concert of the 2018 season at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4. Her performance will include Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Mussorgsky’s “The Great Gate of Kiev.” Eudras will also perform one of her own original works, “Song of a Dolphin.”

Eudras, from Odessa, Ukraine, is a graduate of the Odessa National A.V. Nezhdanova Music Academy. She’s toured extensively throughout Europe and has authored original organ works as well as many transcriptions. She’s currently the main organist for the Odessa Reformed Church, concert master of the Odessa National A.V. Nezhdanova Music Academy and the artistic director of the Odessa Music Fest, an international organ music festival.

Concerts are free and open to the public; donations to the organ restoration project are welcome.
