These are the things I look for in a political candidate:
Honesty; a consistent code of ethics; someone willing to stay the course of his or her convictions and vote accordingly; someone who supports education, better wages and health care for all; someone who is compassionate, intelligent, a good listener and who is willing to work with others with differing views in order to get things done for Maine.
That is why I am voting for Jan Collins for state Senate District 17.
