LEWISTON — Travis Nadeau notched a goal with 7:10 remaining in regulation as Mt. Ararat rallied to earn a 1-1 tie against Lewiston in boys’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.

Cooper Millett recovered a missed penalty kick and sent the ball into the goal at 30:45 of the second half for the Blue Devils (10-0-2).

Jamie Singleton made eight saves for Mt. Ararat (9-1-1), while Dido Lumu stopped five shots for Lewiston.

Mountain Valley 4, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD — Cam Gallant scored a hat trick, including two goals early in the second half, as Mountain Valley pulled away from Dirigo in boys’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons (5-5-1) led 1-0 at the half. Garrett Garbarini capped the scoring with a header late in the second half.

Goalie Loegan Hodgkins made 11 saves for the Cougars (2-9), while goalie Kyle Kenney stopped five to earn the win in net for Mountain Valley.

Girls’ soccer

Edward Little 3, Gardiner 0

GARDINER — Ella Boucher netted a pair of goals as Edward Little dispatched host Gardiner 3-0 in girls’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.

The Red Eddies (2-7-2) led 1-0 at the midpoint. Julia Berube added a goal to round out the scoring for Edward Little.

Goalie Bri Perry made seven saves for Gardiner, while goalies Kayleigh Leclerc and Allie Annear made one save each for Edward Little in the winning effort.

Bangor 3, Mt. Blue 0

FARMINGTON — Three different players scored as Bangor took a 3-0 victory from Mt. Blue in girls’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.

The Rams (6-4-1) led 2-0 at the half. Celia DeDiego, Maddie Aloha and Rowen Andrews accounted for the three goals.

Goalie Mackenzie Libby made 14 saves for the Cougars (2-8-1), while goalie Libby Fleming made nine saves for Bangor in the winning effort.

Field hockey

Winthrop 6, Boothbay 0

BOOTHBAY — Maddy Perkins scored four goals and the unbeaten Ramblers cruised to the MVC win in Boothbay.

Hannah Duley and Gia Francis also scored for Winthrop (13-0-0). Kerrigan Anuszewski had a pair of assists in the victory, and Alicia Bridges made two saves to earn the shutout.

Maddy Barter stopped nine shots for Boothbay (4-9-0).
