Ned Claxton is a long-standing family practice physician in this area who knows the landscape of the health care and mental health care field. He knows the community and he knows what people need. Ease of access to all aspects of health care is an important component of his overall vision.
Regarding mental health specifically, and as a practicing local psychotherapist, I am professionally aware of decreasing, complicated and confusing access to adequate mental health care. In response, Claxton is a strong advocate for a health care system that ensures both better access as well as an organized and integrated plan for general health and mental health services.
Anyone who knows Claxton knows that he is a tireless worker and that he aims to deliver. People can count on him.
I hope others will join me in giving Ned Claxton support and their votes.
