AUBURN — Bella Coulombe notched the game’s lone goal as Edward Little secured a 1-0 victory over Leavitt in field hockey action Tuesday.

The Red Eddies’ (6-8) offense out performed the Hornets (7-7) with a 9-1 margin in shots on goal.

Goalie Mallory Casey made eight saves for Leavitt, while Elise Syphers prevented one to earn the win in net for Edward Little.

Boothbay 6, Telstar 0

BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Chloe Arsenault had three of her four goals in a span of 10 minutes in the second half as the Seahawks (5-9) pulled away from the Rebels (0-14) at Boothbay Harbor.

Cortney Meader had a pair goals for Boothbay, and Lexi Lane added a goal and an assist.

Perry Morton turned aside 14 shots for Telstar, and Jaelyn Crocker made four saves.

Dirigo 4, Hall-Dale 0

DIXFIELD — Sophia Jacques scored two goals to lead Dirigo to a 4-0 victory over Hall-Dale in field hockey action Tuesday.

The Cougars led 3-0 at the half. Page Lueders and Kailey Hackett scored the first two tallies of the game.

Mt. Blue 2, Cony 2, tie

AUGUSTA — Anna Stolt scored two goals and Julia Reny assisted on both as the Rams tied the Cougars in a key KVAC field hockey game Tuesday.

Emily Douglas had eight saves for Cony (10-3-1), while Brooke Bolduc had 16 for Mt. Blue (8-3-2).

Ellie Pelletier had a goal and an assist for Mt. Blue. Eva Stevens also scored.

Oxford Hills 5, Lewiston 1

PARIS — Brooke Carson and Julia Colby notched two goals each as Oxford Hills sailed to a 5-1 field hockey victory over Lewiston on Tuesday.

The Vikings led 1-0 hat the half. Carson and Maggie Hartnett provided two assists each for Oxford Hills.

Mya Grant scored the Blue Devils’ lone goal.

Goalies Ashley Cronkhite and Jillian Labbe combined for seven saves for Lewiston, while Madison Day stopped six for Oxford Hills in the winning effort.

Boys’ soccer

Edward Little 4, Oxford Hills 1

PARIS — Wol Maiwen posted a pair of goals to lead Edward Little to a 4-1 victory over Oxford Hills in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

The Red Eddies outshot the Vikings 7-3 in the contest.

Lincoln 3, Leavitt 2

TURNER — Jorge Pulido-Hernandez scored the winner with two minutes remaining as the Eagles (6-6-1) rallied from a 2-1 second-half deficit to beat the Hornets (3-5-4) in Turner.

Leavitt took a 2-1 lead when Trevor Gaudin scored with 22 minutes left, but Lincoln Academy answered less than a minute later with a goal from Gus Hunt.

The Hornets opened the scoring 14:40 into the contest on a goal from Garrett Addison. Troy Nguyen tied it for the Eagles in the 16th minute.

Lisbon 3, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD — Elijah Fullerton scored two second-half goals as Lisbon pulled away with a 3-0 triumph over Dirigo in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

D.J. Douglass got the Greyhounds (4-7-1) started at the 2:46 mark of the first half.

Goalie Loegan Hodgkins made 14 saves for the Cougars (2-12), while Levi Levesque stopped eight for Lisbon.

NYA 7, Buckfield 0

YARMOUTH — Alasdair Swett and Stefan Kulhanek each scored two goals for the Panthers (11-2) in a one-sided boys’ soccer win against Buckfield (6-3-1) on Tuesday.

Ryan Baker, Chas Rohde and Cam Goodrich also scored for NYA, and Myles Chapman stopped both shots he faced in net.

Bucks keeper Rick Kraske had 18 saves.

Temple 7, Rangeley 1

WATERVILLE — Will Paradis scored three goals to lead the Bereans to an East/West boys’ soccer victory over the Lakers in Waterville.

Ilija Ivkovic, Giano Marco, Noah Shepherd and Nick Blaisdell each added goals for Temple (10-1-0). Shepherd added two assists.

Leo Perez had the lone goal for Rangeley (4-7-0).

Waynflete 4, St. Dom’s 0

AUBURN — Askar Houssein and Pat Shaw had a goal and an assist apiece in the first half to help Waynflete (9-0-2) defeat St. Dominic (5-5-3) at Auburn.

Joey Ansel Mullen and Diraige Dahia added second-half goals for the Flyers.

Matthew Gosselin had nine saves for the Saints, while Aidan Carlisle prevented four to earn the win.

Yarmouth 6, Gray-NG 0

YARMOUTH — Eric Labrie scored three times in the first half and the Clippers (12-0-1) extended their unbeaten streak to 43 games as they beat the Patriots (4-5-2) in Yarmouth.

Jack Jones added two goals and Aidan Fickey and Steve Fulton each had two assists for Yarmouth.

Brannon Gilbert and Kyle Curtis combined for five saves for Gray-New Gloucester.

Girls’ soccer

Mt. Ararat 2, Mt. Blue 1

FARMINGTON — Eliza Libby scored on a penalty kick with 4:31 to go to lift Mt. Ararat over Mt. Blue.

Reese Turcotte also scored for the Eagles (7-5). Goalie Abby Sirois made seven saves for Mt. Ararat.

Lexi Mittelstadt scored off of an assist from Emma White for the Cougars (2-9-1). Goalie Mackenzie Libby made 17 saves for Mt. Blue.

NYA 1, Buckfield 0

YARMOUTH — Serena Mower’s shot took a high bounce over the goaltender 36:30 into the game as the Panthers (9-3-1) edged Buckfield (5-5-1) in Yarmouth.

Ruby Cyr kept the game close with 18 saves for the Bucks. NYA goalie Carly Downey stopped three.

Rangeley 1, Temple 0

WATERVILLE — Olivia Pye scored the lone goal of the game to lift the Lakers to an East/West Conference girls’ soccer victory Tuesday.

Winnie LaRochelle made seven saves for Rangeley (6-4-1).

Jaimee Feugill handled net duties for the Bereans (10-2).

Spruce Mountain 5, Boothbay 1

JAY — Calley Baker scored a hat trick as Spruce Mountain topped Boothbay on Tuesday.

The Phoenix jumped to a 3-0 lead at the half. Moreland Brochu and Jaycee Cole rounded out the scoring for Spruce Mountain.

Raegan Cola scored an unassisted goal for the Seahawks.

Goalies Emilie Crocke and Marissa Davison combined for 19 saves for Boothbay, and Annabelle Collins made five stops for Spruce Mountain.

Yarmouth 2, Gray-NG 1

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER — Ehryn Groothhoff and Olivia Feeley each scored for the Clippers (7-5) as they held on to beat the Patriots (6-6) at Gray.

Laurel Thomas scored for the Patriots, and Chelsea Davis finished with seven saves.

York 13, Poland 0

YORK — Eliza Linn scored four goals and Jacquelyn Tabora added three as the Wildcats (8-2-1) rolled past the Knights (3-8) in York.

Halee Bando had two goals and four assists and Peyton Nickerson had two goals and two assists for York, which led 8-0 at halftime.

Gabrielle Bolduc finished with 10 saves for Poland.
