DURHAM – Patricia L. Pinette, 86, of Cedar Pond Road, passed away peacefully Thursday Oct. 11, 2018. She was born in Lisbon Falls on Dec. 12, 1931, the daughter of Otis and Geraldine Guenther. She married Francis G Pinette Sr on November 26th, 1949.She was a homemaker and worked as a stitcher for several sewing manufacturers. Among her interests was sewing home décor for her family. She also enjoyed spending time at their cottages. After retirement she loved being at their winter home in Edgewater, Fla. She was a member of the Ladies Rotary Club of Edgewater. Her greatest love was spending time with and cooking for her family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 67 years; her son, Francis G Pinette Jr. and his wife, Patricia A. Pinette of Durham; and daughter, Gale L. Mailman and Michael A. Norton of Durham; her sister Marlene Ward of Harpswell and brother Walter R Guenther of Edgewater, Florida. She has four grandchildren, Nicole Richards and her husband, Chris, of Greenville, Scott Mailman and Jess Adkins of Poland, Shelley Pinette and Linden Houle of Durham and Amy Janelle and her husband John of Durham; as well as 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.

The family would like to express their thanks to the Staff at the Freeport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the compassionate care they provided to Patricia and her family.
